AICE Media Studies “Carmen” (Final Cut) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZeV6mDvzpk
Peer review reflection: The peer reviews, while insightful and helpful, ultimately did not manifest in our final cut. A lot of the responses concerned the lack of voice over and the lack of story. However, when my team and I discussed the responses, we found that, while their criticism made sense, our artistic vision was more in line with a more minimalistic, vague beginning to a story, rather than a heavy-handed introduction to a complete story. Overall, we kept everything structurally the same but fixed a few issues with the brightness on a few shots to make the feel of the film more consistent.
